My Saturday was spent in VA at the speedway. No, not for a NASCAR race, but for the first ever, in VA, NSRA nationals. Saw MANY rat rods and street rods that were unique.
Our main purpose for going was so me and dad could see what changes have been made over the years with trends and popular things. It seems that walking into that place was the same was walking into it in 1976. Nothing has changed. Surprising enough.
More details will come later as well as some photos of some awesome rods!
I received the new Stylin concepts catalog in the mail today. I was looking through it and notice on the first or second page there was this. http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts.aspx/partfamilyid/1547
Ok, usually, under NORMAL circumstances, when you see something like that , there is something wrong with the cylinder head. Now, is this a vague attempt to LOOK like someone is burning rubber when they are not? Is this suppose to be ‘cool’? Now, the ‘youngins’ may enjoy it but me, being somewhat of a partial younin myself, find it ignorant, stupid and highly ficticous.
That is my rant for the day.
Until next time
burning rubber…
